Safety from A to Z

From new products, to market trends to corporate developments and background reports – automotive supplier TRW Automotive kept its stakeholders informed with its “Advances” print magazine once or twice a year. To provide customers, suppliers and journalists in the important German automotive market with in-depth information in their mother tongue, about:communication produced the German-language edition of the magazine for around seven years, until TRW Automotive was fully absorbed into ZF Friedrichshafen AG. The focus was consistently on the intelligent networking of braking, steering and chassis technologies with passive safety systems, paving the way to integrated and intelligent safety as well as automated driving.

The a:c team researched, wrote, interviewed, translated, adapted and coordinated a total of 10 issues in close collaboration with the client’s communication department and engineering team. Over many years, a:c also assured the consistently high-quality output of each 1000-issue print run. It was evident that journalists from the relevant German trade media – for which a:c acted as the contact point in the German market – were very happy to use the corporate magazine as a source of information. The well-researched Advances articles, which were written to proper journalistic criteria, often resulted in extensive coverage of a story in the specialist automotive media.
